Global Coffee Or...
Jamaican Coffee: Jamaican coffee is mostly clean, sweet, and mild in taste, but lacks the complexity and uniqueness generally expected of specialty-grade coffee. Coffee production here stabilized earlier than in other producing countries, and with clear marketing messaging and a clean, sweet cup profile, Jamaican coffee holds relative advantages. Almost everyone who has heard of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee knows it is the most expensive coffee in the world, but not everyone knows why. Like Rolls-Royce automobiles and Stradivarius violins, when something earns the reputation of being "the best in the world," that prestige often creates its own distinct character and turns into an enduring legend.
